A few days ago, I posted the first ever Sweet Surrender Blog entry. I also said enough of the mushy stuff. Unfortunately and unintentionally I forgot two people to thank that have been so important to me and Sweet Surrender. First is my son Christopher, who is the most selfless person I know. He is always looking for way to enhance my life so he can have me around for a long time. I love him dearly for this and his love envelopes me daily. The next person is Grandma. Really my mother in law, but truly the only Mother I have ever known. She has assisted us in every way possible to make Sweet Surrender what it is today and I love her dearly. Thank you Grandma!
Now, that’s really is the end of the mushy stuff.
If you come in today after 4 PM, you can purchase our newest addition to the Sweet Surrender line up. They are Sweet Surrender Whoopie Pies and let me tell you, they are unbelievable. Come in for half a dozen, I promise it will brighten up your day.
Finally, in the next few weeks, our blog will allow members to sign up and post their own idea or whatever you would like to say about the cupcake world. I will keep you posted on a regular basis as to when this will go live. Thanks again to all who are friends of Sweet Surrender.

Thanks for visiting our Website and our new Blog. This is our first entry and I want to take this chance to thank a few people who have made this all possible. First is my beautiful wife Rosemary. If you have met her you know how kind and wonderful she is. Without her dream Sweet Surrender would never have happened. We all love Ro, but nobody can more than me. During this entire process, Anne Lyons who is Ro’s sister was so instrumental in the design and support of opening Sweet Surrender. Come in and see her Cupcake Wraps which are so unique and beautiful that each design tops the next. Thank you Annie, we love you. Next, I would like to thank Josh, our Manager of our store who has in all ways shown he is a one of a kind professional. We could not have succeeded without his commitment and dedication and we are grateful to have him. The next person is Kelly, who has been a godsend to Ro. She has become an important part of Sweet Surrender due to her willingness to learn new things and help Ro in the bakery each morning to get our product to you. But the help she gives Ro is a blessing to me that I cherish everyday. Thank you Kel. Last but not least is our wonderful and sweet Brittany who has always been there to help when it is needed most and has gone the extra mile to do technical things behind the scenes that often are forgotten. But I need you to know Britt, they are appreciated as much as you are. Finally, I need to thank Dan and Nick for this Website and new Blog who have made this possible. But most of all, I would like to thank every person who has come to Sweet Surrender and have had a chance to enjoy our food. Without you we could not be here. Thank you very much! Now that the mushy part of the message is out of the way, I would like to get to some exciting new to tell you about.
If you notice, along with our blog, you will now be able to order directly online and just come in and pick them up. For example, if you order a dozen cupcakes online today, you can pick the up after 2 PM tomorrow. If you have special needs, just give us a call and we will do everything to accommodate you.
The second piece of news is that we are working on shipping our product nation wide. We are currently test shipping around the country and so far the feedback has been stellar. We hope to have this completed by the end of the month or sooner so all of you can send Sweet Surrender products to anyone anywhere in the U.S.
